Do the FAFSA Scholarship: Description: To qualify, students must complete the 2027-28 FAFSA and submit a short application through ScholarshipQuest, EducationQuest’s free scholarship database. Monthly drawings begin in November and continue through April 2027. Students who aren’t selected will automatically roll into future drawings, giving them multiple chances to win. HVAC Technician Scholarship: Description: Rutt’s Mechanical Services (Commercial HVAC) is releasing a scholarship for those interested in going to HVAC tech school in Nebraska! You must have a 3.0 GPA.  This opportunity includes paid tuition with one specific requirement: you must work for Rutt’s Mechanical Services for three years after your college graduation. Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship: Description: Ranging from $1,000 per year to $7,500 per year, Most Valuable Student scholarships are for students pursuing a four-year degree, on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 semester hours), in a U.S. college or university. Hagan Scholarship: Description: This is a major scholarship that provides up to $7,500 each semester for four years. You also get $2,000 to spend on essential items for college such as a cell phone, computer, clothing, supplies, etc.  You haso get an HSF Schwab Brokerage Account to manage until graduation that will be $10,000 your second year, $15,000 your third year, and $20,000 your fourth year.. If you keep the requirements, your third year students with a 3.5 GPA get an all expense paid study abroad travel experience up to $8,000. 

Requirements: 

- Must attend a 4 year university 

- If awarded this scholarship, you have to work 240 hours between Jan 1, 2027-Sept 1, 2027.

- Parents' 2024 Adjusted Gross Household income must be $100,000 or lower.

- FAFSA is not a requirement unless you get selected as a finalist

TeamMates Central Scholarship: Description: This is one applications that is tied to several colleges for scholarships at two year and four year institutions.  You must be a part of the TeamMates mentoring program. Lutheran Family Services Smith Scholarship: Description: Scholarship for students pursuing a trade school or four year degree. Funds can be up to $15,000. Student must be from an underepresented background and be a legal citizen. Requires 2 letters of recommendation. Applicants must have a household income under $75,000. NE Strength Coaches Scholarship: Description: Two $500 scholarships will be awarded (one for a female and one for a male). Students applying just be an actiive participant in the school's Strength and Conditioning program and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Application Requirements: Current school photo, an official or current high school transcript, a video application and a letter of recommendation from their high school strength coach. Elks Vocational Scholarship: Description: A scholarship for a senior who plans to attend a 2 year college. Need is a primary requirement. Creative Writing Scholarship: Description: A $2,000 scholarship.
