Class attendance is considered to be an integral part of the learning experience at Warren High School. As such, students must actively participate in instructional activities designed by the teacher and missing these learning experiences may affect students’ academic success. Students must abide by the following attendance expectations:

· Attend on-line live sessions via video platform (such as Zoom) daily as assigned in student schedule.

· Attendance will be taken daily in each block/period and students will communicate daily with assigned teachers in order to be marked “Present”.

· Students will inform teachers if they are unable to attend class if there are extenuating circumstances that prevent them from attending class.

Please report any absence of your student to the attendance office either by telephone or email. All absences must be reported by a parent or guardian on each day of absence unless the number of days of absence is stated on the first call/email. ABSENCES MUST BE CLEARED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN WITHIN 10 DAYS.

It is mandatory that all parents complete the registration verification to confirm their student’s information by using the Parent Connection Portal at https://parentconnection.dusd.net/

A Parent Connection account is required to complete the registration. If you cannot remember your password, you will be able to reset your password by using the “Need Your Login Information?”. Parents of newly enrolled students that have not yet received the account information, your log-in and temporary password will be sent to you via email from our Student Information System “Q” in a timely manner.
