Download an application HERE. Be a graduating DHS senior. Planning on entering the teaching profession. Complete the application, prepare a student resume, and write an essay of 250 words or less on the topic "Why I Wish to Enter the Teaching Profession." Turn it into Mrs. Campos by March 31 at 3 PM.

ALEJANDRO FLORES FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE IS APRIL 30
Graduating high school seniors are eligible to apply. Alexx Flores overcame substantial challenges in his life, and this scholarship is meant to aid those who have done the same. We don’t care much about GPA or standardized test scores. What we are looking for is someone who demonstrates the following values: grit, determination, perseverance, honesty and humility. Scholarship is available to any incoming college student from Los Angeles County, regardless of degree path, who meets the following criteria:
Graduating from a Los Angeles County high school or transferring from a Los Angeles County community college.
Anticipated enrollment at a four-year university for the Fall 2022 semester, regardless of location*; and
Demonstrates outstanding moral character, grit, and perseverance.

THE ARMY RESERVE MINUTEMAN SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE IS AUGUST 4 2023
The Minuteman scholarship awards 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5 and 4 year scholarships. Public, non-resident or private institution rates authorized.
They must be academically aligned to start and end the scholarship by graduation date and commission. Graduate degree eligible. All scholarships are based on available funding. SAT OR ACT AND GPA OF 2.5> Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. National. Meet physical fitness requirements ages 17-28. For more information Questions

A.J. WANG FOUNDATION COMMUNITY COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS DEADLINE OPENS APRIL 15 CLOSES JUNE 1 ANNUALLY
If you are continuing your college education at a community college then please apply to the A.J. Wang community college scholarship! If you are attending Community College in the fall please apply to the AJ Wang scholarship. There are many scholarships to be awarded and each is $2K a year that can be renewed. HORATIO ALGER CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS DEADLINE JUNE 15

The Career & Technical Scholarship Program is funded through the generosity of Horatio Alger Association Members, Dennis R. Washington and Jim F. Dicke II. Scholarships are awarded to students who have faced and overcome great obstacles in their lives who wish to pursue a career or technical education at an accredited non-profit post-secondary institution in the United States. Eligibility Criteria:
Have completed high school (or earned a high school equivalency credential) by July 1
Be enrolled in an associate’s degree, certificate, or diploma program by September that will lead to employment
May not be enrolled in pre-requisite courses
Attend a not-for-profit post-secondary institution
Demonstrate financial need; applicants must either show family income of $55,000 or less OR prove Pell Grant eligibility
Be under the age of 35
Be a United States citizen
Funds may be used for any costs associated with earning a degree/certificate including, but not limited to: tuition, fees, books, supplies, transportation and other personal expenses. All scholarship funds are paid directly to the institution on behalf of the recipient.
