FAQs

Am I good candidate for BUS?

Students with 3.0 GPAs, who will meet the A-G requirements, and are interested in applying to a 4 year university are the ideal candidates for BUS.

Can I still participate in an internship this summer while enrolled in BUS?

The BUS program was designed with flexibility in mind. Throughout the week students work on their college essay independently and schedule an appointment one a week to meet one-on-one with a Warren teacher.

How much of a time commitment will this be?

The BUS course is a credit/no credit course. Students are required to complete three assignments for credit. One weekly appointment is required to stay in the course.

I will be out of the state during a portion of the class, can I still participate?

The BUS course is all online. Students who are out of the state or country can still make their appointments as long as they have internet access and a computer.

Who do I contact if I have questions?

Contact our program coordinator, Mr. David Cha at dcha@dusd.net.

Will I be able to participate in BUS during the Fall?

At this time, BUS is only offered during the summer. Students are encouraged to reach out to the College and Career Center for additional help during the fall.
