About Me
BEHIND THE LENS
Hello.
My name is Taylor Doo. I am a mother and a full time teacher at Denair High School. I am an agricultural educator. And this is my fourth year teaching Agriculture education. My goal is to feed the seed. I want to plant the seed in students and give them opportunities to grow. I want to teach them all that I know, in order to have more informed students, which leads to a more informed society. I want to encourage the doers, thinkers, and dreamers of tomorrow, because they are our future. I plan to implement a "Learn by Doing" classroom philosophy.
I hail from Turlock, California. I received my High School Diploma from Turlock High School. I attended Merced Community College and received an Associates of Science in Agricultural Business and an Associates of Arts in Psychology. Upon graduation, I started attending California Polytechnic State University.
I received my Agricultural Science Bachelors Degree with an emphasis in Crop and Soil Science in the Spring of 2016. And shortly after, I received my credential Spring of 2017.
I am continuing my education by pursuing my Master's at California Polytechnic State University.
I look forward to teaching the following courses at Denair High School:
- Farm to Fork
- Floral I (Introduction to Floral Design)
- Floral II(Advanced Floral Design)
- Floral III (Floral Management)
- Online College Courses
- SAE Project
