Get Involved

TDF - Bird Watch

As part of our biodiversity project here at the Durham Federation we are taking part in the Big School's Bird Watch to help the RSPB complete their annual survey to assess the UK's bird population. This will help them assess bird populations which are doing well and those who may be under threat. They can then put into place plans to help support and maintain this bird species. If you would like to get involved and participate please follow the presentation and find the link to submit your results at the end.

How does it all link to the whole school curriculum?

Eco project - Curriculum links

Here at the Durham Federation we have a wide and varied curriculum. There are many aspects of each subject that link to the eco-project. You can see in the presentation where your teacher have identified areas where there is a cross over. You might not even be aware you are learning about environmental impacts or solutions.

Suggestions

It would be great to have as many students, pupils and members of our community on board. If you have any suggestions that you think would help us become more sustainable please fill in the google form below to submit your idea. We look forward to taking on board as many of these as possible and work together to achieve success.
