Work for 11/19/19:

  • Click on the Doc called "Quotation Embedding Practice"
  • Make a copy
  • Fill in your own sentences that include all the parts to a well embedded quotation
  • Continue looking for great evidence (quotations!) for your own article today. See if you can find at least THREE different, strong quotations from THREE DIFFERENT SOURCES.
  • If you find quotations, please start trying to embed them into your own sentences.
  • Other writing ideas: complete your outline, write your lead (intro) paragraph, or revise your Thesis Statement.

  1. Your name under the type of writing you will do
  2. Your likely topic (the idea you will write about)
  3. Your thesis statement, using the questions from our outline page.
