This is meant as a Study Help for all students who would like more structure in their Accelerate Learning.
Time in these Zooms does not represent all the study time that Accelerate demands. We ask for 1 hour/day/course; 90 minutes for AP courses/day.
These are optional to attend. If you feel you can get your study time done without logging into these zooms, feel free to make your own schedule
By offering this schedule, we will replace the 1:1 slots on Wednesdays and the Coaches' office hours with this schedule.
If you feel you need more facetime with your coaches, please check out their Coach website for ways to get in touch with them (tab along the top of this page labeled "Remote Coaches")
Don't forget to check out more answers and resources on the Troubleshooting Spreadsheet (TSSS).
From your coaches' webpage (see tab at the top for Remote Learning Coaches)...

Submit your attendance DAILY before 2:50 PM from the STUDENT'S Infinite Campus portal, not from the parent's portal. Here's how:
Login to your Infinite Campus portal.
On LEFT side of screen, go to Check-Ins, click arrow.
Click on BLUE button [Yes, I'm Here]
Before you begin working each day:
Bookmark this Remote Learner's site off the DHS homepage under the Academics tab for tons of resources
Check your announcements for helpful hints or important info
Check for feedback from your coach, if you see a little msg bubble icon next to the grade for that assignment
Check if you can retake a quiz or resubmit, if you see a green circle arrow (like the recycle arrow) next to the grade for that assignment. Then resubmit it.
If there is an "X" next to the assignment, that means the teacher has excused that assignment for you.
Get credit for the work you are submitting by sharing it with your teacher in your Google Drive folder for that course. For better organization, have a Shared folder on your drive for each of your courses.
Double check when the next Module Exam is for the class on the Course page. (Ignore the due dates listed on the Calendar or the To Do list.)
Try moving on to the next activity in the module and not waiting until the Module Exam to do everything. Plan on about 1 hour per day per class on average, just like students learning in the building. If you miss an exam, you should still be able to move forward until you are able to do the makeup exam just as if you are in person.
Go to your Remote Teachers zoom Study Sessions for time with your coach. See the zoom schedule above.
Make this yours: choose your schedule, find your best time of day to study, your favorite place to study. You can do this!
This Google Sheet can help with any Content Questions or Accelerate issues. This resource, teacher's office hours, or Study Sessions are the best way to find help.
For Science and Elective courses, please email your course teacher.
Here is a link to TSSS for Semester 1. We won't be looking here but you may if you need to reference anything from first semester.
