Below is a list of pathways and micro-credential professional development opportunities for Administrators.
Each individual micro-credential can be part of a pathway or it can stand alone. Pathways can be vertical, completed in a certain order, or a collection, completed in any order.
All micro-credentials will be delivered through the district learning management system, Canvas. Canvas can be accessed via NCEdCloud. Upon successful completion of a micro-credential, a digital badge will be issued to the participant, as well as CEU credit. Participants can view their digital badges via their Canvas account and their CEU credit via Professional Growth.
To Enroll in a Micro-credential:
Click on the Course URL
Sign into NCEdCloud.
Select Enroll in Course.
Participants will NOT register via Frontline Education Professional Growth system.
Digital Badges & CEU Credits:
Upon successful completion of a micro-credential, the instructor will issue a digital badge as well as CEU credits. Participant's badge information can be found in Canvas under Account information. Participant's CEU credits can be found in Frontline Education Professional Growth system. CEU credits for all participants will be updated in the Frontline Education Professional Growth system after the completion date found in the micro-credential description.
NO ACTION will be required in Frontline Education Professional Growth system by participants.
Micro-Credential submissions may take up to two weeks to be returned. Participants will receive a Canvas notification once the submission has been reviewed.

Description:
This course is designed to help administrators become the ‘lead learners’ in their schools, modeling appropriate instructional practices and ensuring content encompasses appropriate digital tools, resources, and pedagogies. Participants will learn about state and local policies and laws associated with responsible use, use of digital tools, and digital citizenship.
