At Willowbrook High School, the music department is a vibrant, inclusive community where every student can discover their passion, grow as a musician, and strive for excellence. With a wide range of offerings—including multiple levels of band, chorus, orchestra, and guitar, as well as marching band, percussion ensemble, piano, music production, and AP Music Theory—students of all backgrounds and experience levels will find a place to belong. Beyond the classroom, students can explore extracurricular opportunities like jazz band, mariachi, rock band, show choir, brass quintet, and string quintet, while also pursuing prestigious honors such as All-State, All-District, and honors credit recognition. Our students consistently achieve success at IHSA Solo & Ensemble and earn recognition at district and state levels, performing throughout the community at events, athletic games, and theatrical productions.
