Partner with DuPage High School District 88
At DuPage High School District 88, we are committed to providing multiple, flexible pathways that prepare students for life beyond high school... whether that path leads to college, a career, or both. Central to this work are strong partnerships with colleges, universities, and local businesses that help students connect learning to real-world application.
Our comprehensive curriculum includes credential-aligned career pathway programs, more than 30 Advanced Placement (AP) courses, over 50 dual-credit and collegiate-credit offerings across 18 career pathway areas, and award-winning fine arts programming. Beyond coursework, students benefit from hands-on experiences such as internships, apprenticeships, job shadows, field trips, and career mentoring made possible through community and industry partnerships.
As the workforce and postsecondary landscape continue to evolve, District 88 is intentionally strengthening the bridge between education and employment. We are expanding access to college credit and industry-recognized credentials while actively seeking new business and community partners to collaborate in preparing students with the skills, experiences, and confidence needed for future success.

One of the biggest barriers some students face in participating in internship and apprenticeship opportunities is transportation. These hands-on learning experiences provide invaluable career exploration, skill development, and real-world experience, but some students need assistance getting to and from their placement sites.
Community members and local businesses can make a meaningful difference by helping cover transportation costs for students participating in these career readiness experiences.
If you are interested in supporting this initiative or would like to learn more, please contact Iridia Nevarez, Director of Student Career Development, at 630-628-3305.
Together, we can help ensure every student has access to meaningful career experiences, regardless of transportation challenges.
