Dear Blazer Parents:
You are cordially invited to our annual fall OPEN HOUSE at Addison Trail High School on Wednesday, August 28th, 2024. Please join us for a chance to meet our dedicated teachers and staff and get to know the Addison Trail school community. Explore our facilities and learn about our curriculum, unique academic programming, and supports. We look forward to welcoming you!Â
Students will be dismissed at 1:40 PM on Wednesday, August 28th, 2024.
The first wave of buses in the morning will remain at the usual time.
The afternoon bus run will be after 8th hour of the 1:40 PM dismissal time.
The late bus run will be at 4:15 PM. No other buses will be available after 4:15 PM. All athletic practices and club meetings will conclude before 4:15 PM.
Attached to your mailing will be a copy of your student’s schedule. Verify this schedule with your student to ensure no changes have been made. You may also log on to Power School to view your student’s schedule. If you have trouble logging in to your PowerSchool account, please contact the main office at (630) 628-3300. Please bring this with you to Open House so you know which classes to visit during the time frame listed below.
We will have a tour of our building beginning at 6:00 PM. The tour will last 30 minutes and is optional.
Childcare will be provided in the Blazer Room.
The Open House program will officially begin at 6:30 p.m. and will follow the schedule below.

During an open period in your student’s schedule, you may visit one of the following areas:
"Top 5 Tips for Success at Addison Trail", presented by the Counseling Department – in the Student Cafeteria
Dean’s Office – north end of the Commons - meet the deans and learn about our safety and security efforts at Addison Trail
Booster Clubs – Commons
These discussions will be an open forum for you to ask any questions, so please feel free to come and go.
Our Open House is tailored to foster meaningful communication with parents, and we encourage you to join us on August 28th. Please note that while the Open House is a great opportunity to learn more about our school, it’s not the ideal setting for individual conferences about student progress. Parents who would like a personal conference are encouraged to schedule one with the teacher at a later date.  Â

What do you need to do? Simply attend each of your child's classes and remember to sign in.
The 2024-2025 Yearbook will be sold for $50 at Open House. Come find our table in the commons and outside of room 340! We will accept cash, check, or card. If you have any questions, please e-mail Mrs. Clark at jclark@dupage88.net
During a lunch period in your student's schedule, you may visit with our Deans to learn about our safety and security efforts at ATHS.
During a remote period in your student's schedule you may visit with our Student Services Department for information on IEPs.
During your child's ASC period in their schedule you may visit with our ASC Dept. Chair to learn more about our Addison Support Center.
