While many of us enjoy watching the little adorable critters run around the forest, local park, or our yards, it is important that we stay a safe and respectful distance from them.
Wild animals can carry different diseases that are transmittable to you.

If you can cover the entire wild animal with your thumb in your field of vision, then you are a safe distance. This is usually about 25 yards for medium size animals but more for larger animals!
