2) Students will gather facts about Act 4 in their notebooks to be able to follow the sequence of events of Romeo and Juliet

3) Students will complete a Take a Stand Activity and then reflect and discuss it on it online in Google Classroom.

Class Overview:

The major purpose of this course is to prepare students for the literacy demands of college and the world of work. Students in this course develop advanced proficiencies in expository, analytical, and argumentative reading and writing. The cornerstone of the course presents a process for helping students read, comprehend, and respond to non-fiction and literary texts. This course will also provide instruction in research methods and documentation conventions. Course texts include contemporary essays, newspaper and magazine articles, editorials, reports, biographies, memos, assorted public documents, and other non-fiction texts. Written assessments and holistic scoring guides conclude each unit.
