Class overview
Students in English II will build upon and reinforce the skills acquired in English I. Students in English II will analyze fiction and non-fiction selections by examining the use of language for rhetorical, argumentative, and literary purposes. The emphasis in English II is critical analysis of texts and real-life connections through reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Students will engage with these concepts through writing, communication, videos, demonstrations, and presentations.

This is my first year teaching and I am excited to be a part of Duncan Poly! My goal is to allow my students to ignite their creative and critical thinking. I want students to understand the challenges of the real world and learn to succeed in it.
