The band is excited to be returning to the 76th Annual North Jersey Band Festival on Sunday, October 29th (rain date of the following Sunday, November 5th). We are always grateful to be a part of this historic festival alongside so many amazing bands!

This year, the Marching Band and Color Guard is excited to announce a new performance in the Bergen County St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday, March 12th, 2023. The parade starts at 2:00pm.
We are excited to support the community and to be among the many other wonderful participating bands and groups!

- Bergenfield USBands Invitational: October 9th, 2022 @ Bergenfield High School
- North Jersey Band Festival: Sunday, October 23, 2022 @ the Clifton School Stadium beginning at 4:00 PM. Our rain date will be Sunday, October 30, 2022, again at 4:00 PM.
Please block off these dates in your calendar now, as these are our "concerts" for the marching season and attendance is mandatory!

August Rehearsals
Tuesday, August 16th from 5:00pm - 8:00 pm
Thursday, August 18th from 5:00pm - 8:00pm
Monday, August 22nd from 5:00pm - 8:00pm
Wednesday, August 24th from 5:00pm - 8:00pm

Below is a schedule for tonight's performance. As a reminder, all Cohort C students must complete the COVID screening form prior to reporting to the school.
SCHEDULE
4:00 PM - Percussion reports to move equipment
4:15 PM - Winds arrive to auditorium; Get an iPad (make sure it has both files downloaded) then report to the field with a music stand and your instrument (w/o case)
5:00 PM - Ceremony begins
6:00 PM - Ceremony concludes (estimated); Percussion - Begin moving equipment back down to band room; Winds - Put away instruments and iPads then report back to the field to assist with percussion, moving music stands to rack in band room, and folding/storing chairs.
NO ONE IS DISMISSED UNTIL ALL TASKS ARE COMPLETED.
ATTIRE
Black pants (dress pants, slacks, etc.) NO JEANS!
Black dress-type shoes. NO SNEAKERS!
Black socks
White, collared shirt (dress shirt, blouse, polo, etc.) NO PROMINENT LABELS!
NO HATS!
Sunglasses are fine, but will probably be unnecessary at that point in the evening.

After not being able to play indoors for 378 days, we've finally been given the green light to resume! Of course, it must be done safely. Head over to the Wind Ensemble page to read the list of precautionary measures being taken to ensure everyone's safety.

Marine Band Virtual Clinic

Tomorrow during our Wind Ensemble class we will have a virtual clinic with Master Gunnery Sergeant Duane F. King of "The President's Own" United States Marine Band. He will be speaking with our students about the "Dynamics of Peer Leadership". The students will also have an opportunity to ask MGySgt King questions about his musical career and role in the Marine Band. Please remind your student-musician that we will begin class at 8:05 AM instead of the usual 8:15 AM.
