Bio

My name is Dan Duke, I come from a family of 10 and being the second to last in line, I have always had a passion for helping others. With 7 siblings, mom and dad always had their hands full around the house, so I became quite handy helping with things at home and have taken many skills with me into my adult life and have been helping others for years. 

I started out working in a small shop working on electronics, repairing power tools, cd players, and other small electronics. We also did a lot work replacing batteries in battery packs for many different types of electronics. After I left the electronics shop, I got into construction and site development where I learned how to operate many different kinds of heavy machinery from excavators, bull dozers, motor graders, and many other kinds powered equipment. I worked in construction for several years and realized that it wasn't really my passion.

In my late 20s I started working in a retail grocery store where I worked my way up into the corporate office as a top-tier support specialist where I found my passion for helping others navigate their way through challenges with technology. Several years later, I changed gears a little and started working as a personal assistant / business systems developer for a Real Estate Agent back in my home town (Goochland VA) where I would spend many hours developing tools and systems to better serve Real Estate clients. 

While I was building systems & processes for the real estate business I became a Realtor so that I could better serve the agents who I was helping. Using tools and systems that we developed to work for us, we went from a single agent with an assistant (me) in 2016 to 14 agents as a team in a brokerage by the end of 2019. In 2020 our fearless team leader (Daniel Keeton) decided it was time to start something larger, so we opened up our very own brokerage in January 2020, 12 of the 14 agents followed us and we began to grow from there. 

In February 2021 I left the company as a salaried employee to be a full time service provider (Realtor & Technical services provider) we had more than 60 agents and several admin staff. I have since sold many homes and helped people with the home buying & selling process as well as worked on hundreds of other projects ranging from automotive electrical issues, home appliance repairs, to setting up office furniture/equipment and installing smart devices, to make peoples lives easier.
