About me!

I grew up in the Bay Area, and studied Biology and Chemistry at the University of Oregon. I have been teaching for almost 20 years! I have taught science at almost every grade level, from being a Science Specialist in elementary school, to teaching middle and high school over the years and now teaching at Valley High School since 2014.

I love Valley's small class sizes and sense of community. One of my favorite things about teaching at Valley is taking fieldtrips. We are fortunate to go all over the Bay Area learning to appreciate and conserve the wonder of nature and the beautiful place where we live.
