Hello, my name is Christine Jeffries (Mrs. Jeffries). I am SO excited to begin my thirteenth year teaching and FIRST YEAR at Magical Murray Elementary School! Here is a little bit of information about me...
I have been teaching for thirteen years. I have taught First Grade, Second Grade, and now Fifth Grade. I grew up in Redwood City and graduated from Sonoma State University with a BA in Criminology & Criminal Justice. I obtained both my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Master's Degree in Curriculum Design & Instruction at Notre Dame De Namur University. This school year, I am taking classes through Cal State East Bay to obtain my Administrative Credential. As you can see, I am a lifelong student, myself!
This summer, I enjoyed time with friends and family. We traveled to Canada to visit my in-laws, as well as spent as much time outside as possible with the girls. Sophie took her first swim lessons this summer and is becoming quite the little fish. Emmy took her first steps this summer and has learned she can climb on almost anything. 😅
We celebrated Emmy's first birthday on June 3 and will celebrate Sophie's third birthday on August 18!
I could not be more excited to join Murray and can't wait to meet the wonderful families and learners that will be in my class this year. I am looking forward to working with you all to make this year unforgettable!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Jeffries

Email is the best method for contacting me. The students are my complete focus while I am teaching. Therefore, I will respond to student emails frequently and will respond to parent emails within two school days, Monday through Friday. I will not respond to emails on the weekends as family time is important for all of us. Thank you for your support and cooperation.
