This award program recognizes exceptional volunteers whose work makes real and sustainable differences in their communities. If you are interested in earning a PVSA, you must do so through a Certifying Organization (CO). Be sure to check in with the organizations you volunteer with to see if they are certified to administer PVSAs. If so, you can use this sample spreadsheet to track your hours for a PVSA award. If your organization is not certified, it is an easy process to begin. Have your organization visit the Eligibility page to learn more.

IEG Global Association: A certifying organization for the PVSA
Immaculate Heart Academy: A certifying organization for the PVSA
SADD Nation: An official certifying organization for the PVSA
You can check with the organization you volunteer with to see if they are a certifying organization.

Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts: Hours completed through these organizations can count towards the PVSA
National Honor Society: Hours completed through this organization can count towards the PVSA
Beta Club: Hours completed through this organization can count towards the PVSA
Church: Hours completed through this organization can count towards the PVSA
Peace Corps: Service through the Peace Corps can count towards the Lifetime Achievement Award
AmeriCorps: Service through AmeriCorps can count towards the Lifetime Achievement Award
