Jacob L. Van Riper is a writer and the editor for the Celtic Conversation. He is a third-year student at Dublin Jerome High School. He’s a Cleveland Browns fan, political enthusiast, photo-editor, and owner of cichlids (aggressive, mean fish). He’s probably listening to Metallica right now.

Annika Sunkara is a senior at Dublin Jerome High School and co-editor of the journalism program. She is a varsity track and field athlete and passionate public speaker. Fun fact: she gave a TED Talk in October 2020! Outside of journalism, she enjoys politics, sociology, and news. She is the recipient of one journalism award and multiple state and national level speech and debate accolades.

Simran Grissom is new to journalism but enthusiastic to begin. In her free time she enjoys reading, writing, and listening to music. Simran aspires to be a lawyer and hopefully publish a poetry book in the approaching years.

Mustafa Jafri is currently a 9th grader at Dublin Jerome High School who has a passion for writing. Mustafa likes to write about everything to do with sports, but he also enjoys writing about politics and theology. Mustafa has given a school TED Talk about sports injuries, and he is currently working on a blog that dives into the vast topics of the sports world. Isaac Watzman, in the Dublin District, hopes to pursue a journalism hobby to cover relevant news stories, information, and opinions. Isaac is fascinated with political issues, inspiring him to write articles covering more topics. Elsewhere he enjoys skateboarding, spending time with his dog, and, or exploring.

Jake Jennings is a student at Jerome High School in Dublin, Ohio. Jennings is an avid watcher and observer of world news and always has a strong opinion on most topics. Outside of school, he loves to play soccer and video games, travel the world, and listen to music (specifically hip hop.) He is a strong supporter of the Denver Broncos and Arsenal FC. Jennings always looks to find the truth in publication and he has a great ear for the facts.

Hasini Bollepally is a freshman who's been interested in journalism and news reporting ever since she was in middle school. Her respect for that grew more in recent years as she saw how hard news reporters had been working recently. She loves learning about current events and issues (along with how to take a stand against them). She's also been interested in subjects like modern and ancient world history, and writing ever since second grade. She loves writing articles about any interesting topics. Hasini plans to take any courses related to mass communication and journalism so she can pursue a career as a journalist.
