Highly recommended that athletes attend these optional practices!

2026-2027 Football Cheer Tryouts: 

July 27th, 28th , 29th

3:00-5:30 pm in the SMS gym

Those who make the team must attend a mandatory athlete and parent meeting Thursday, July 30th at 5:30 pm to reserve spot on the team. 

All athletes MUST have a Final Forms account, physical on file, and documents signed before coming to tryouts. Be sure to click football cheerleading in Final Forms.

All participants will be judged based on the rubric below. They will get a summative score out of 100 points. This is used to created our squads.

Footballl Teams: There will be one sideline football cheer team. The team will be made up of 7th and 8th graders.
