Math Workshop

All students deserve a mathematical learning experience centered around communication, collaboration, thinking and problem solving. Bridges in Mathematics will be a commonly used resource.

Reading and Writing Workshop

Students will use a workshop model to explore various genres and strategies readers use. Students will learn that writer's write for different purposes: to entertain, inform, and share opinions.

Social Studies

Students will spend the year learning about out local community. We will explore our place in the community, Dublin's rich history and unique form of government.

Science

This year we will focus on the skill of inquiry throughout all units of study. We will explore states of matter, properties rocks and soil, and characteristics of plants and animals.
