Daily Schedule

Arrival- check in, morning tubs.

These will change weekly. This is a chance for students to discover new and creative ways to use materials. Students may also be asked to play cooperative games, and work together on some challenges!

Morning Meeting

We will share our "Picture Book of the Day" and discuss any important or fun information as a class!

Math Workshop

Students will complete Math Station rotations. This is small group with Mrs. Klare, at my seat practice, practicing facts, hands-on math games, and technology.

Vocabulary Instruction, Word Study

Students will be practicing and learning grade level appropriate word study lessons and routines.

Lunch/Recess

Reader's Workshop

During this time we will have a whole group mini-lesson, independent reading time, and reading group. We will be working on listening to reading, writing about reading, and enjoying reading!

Science/Social Studies

We will trade off between science and social studies standards. This time will be devoted to students engaging in hands-on experiments and learning!

Writer's Workshop

We will become authors during this time! Writing focuses on narrative, information, and opinion pieces.
