You have signed up to be a part of a very demanding and rewarding sport in which athletes train to compete in one or more events geared toward running, jumping, and throwing. Every athlete should aim to improve their times and distances throughout the season. As a team, we like to stress reaching our personal best each week. If you work hard, you will see results!

In order to be an active member of our squad, please be sure to complete ALL of the following.

Complete Final Forms
Complete the Track & Field Google Sign-Up - Only allows users with Dublin school email!
OHSSA physical form on file (Give to School Athletic Trainer)
Pay to Play fees can be done online through Pay Schools Central.

Sunday May 5th

Good morning!

A few very important things as we enter our final week of the track season!

Schedule:
1. Monday: Everyone practice until 4:30pm
2. Tuesday: Home meet vs Weaver @5pm
3. Wednesday: 6th grade camp-8th graders that were asked to volunteer have been emailed. No one else should be in attendance.
4. Monday 5/13 Spring Sports (Desserts from 6:30-7pm, Awards begin at 7pm)

2. Meet information: Hilliard Weaver & St. Brigid Tri-Meet

Please arrive at the track no later then 4:45pm on Tuesday for our meet against Hilliard Weaver & St. Brigid. Come dressed and ready to go! This is our final meet of the season, so let's make it our best! Please sit at team camp if you are not activity running an event. It is your responsibility to know your events and lanes! Not in an event? Email your coach BEFORE the meet.

There will be an early boys discus flight beginning at 4:30pm. Check the heat sheets and if you would like to throw this will be your opportunity to do so.

Field events: HJ - Girls followed by Boys, LJ - Boys followed by Girls, Discus - Boys followed by Girls, shotput - Girls followed by Boys

3. Volunteers:

THANK YOU to all the the parents who have volunteered this season! We can not do this without you, and we appreciate your dedication and willingness to help! Please consider volunteering on Tuesday if you have not yet this season. SIGN UP HERE

4. Spring Sports Award Night:

The spring sports award night is Monday May 13th. Mr. Miller sent out information about the dessert smorgasboard. 7th graders please arrive at 6:15 to set up drinks and desserts. Everyone else arrive at 6:30 for refreshments/desserts! The awards ceremony will being at 7pm.

Please dress nice (dresses, collard shirts, polos ect.)

7th graders you are in charge of brining a dessert/drink to feed 8-12 people!

7th grade (last names A-M) bring grab and go drinks like juice boxes, water bottles ect. (No 2 liters please)

7th grade (last name N-Z) bring a dessert like cupcakes, brownies, cookies ect.

The spring sports award banquet is where you will turn in your CLEAN & DRY uniform!!!
