Hello and welcome to my site! I am so excited to be part of the Hopewell family in my role as the school counselor. I've been the counselor at Thomas Elementary for the past 17 years, and am looking forward to continuing my journey at Hopewell! My main focus as a counselor is to help promote a positive school climate where all students feel included and respected. Kindness, empathy and creating happy, meaningful lives are weaved throughout my guidance program.
My three children attended Dublin schools at Chapman, Davis and Scioto. I'm so proud of the young adults they've become and really enjoy kayaking, hiking, tennis and exploring new restaurants with them. My commitment every day is to treat my students in the same way that I would want my own kids to be treated. Our students (and families) have all been through a lot during these unprecedented times, and they are also transitioning to a new school which can sometimes be challenging. At Hopewell, we will do everything in our power to meet all of our students' social and emotional needs and make sure they have a smooth transition.
On this site you will find community resources, articles and information for healthy living. Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns.
I look forward to getting to know our Hopewell families!!

It is difficult to try and manage all the stress that has come from the current pandemic, but this site does provide some things that you can do at home to help your children continue to develop socially.
