Dublin Ski & Board Club STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES to include Rules of Co-Curricular/Extracurricular Participation according to Dublin Schools and the following below:
1. All skiers and snowboarders, skiing or snowboarding with our group, must wear helmets. Failure to bring a helmet means the student must rent a helmet or will sit the rest of the evening in the lodge with a chaperone. The second time will result in expulsion from the club.
2. Students are not permitted to leave the resort without ski club advisor's permission. You MUST sign out at a chaperone table with a parent or guardian present.
3. Students need to ride the buses provided by the club when participating in this ski program. (if the parent presents a note the student may ride either way with the parent, but the parent must make personal contact with a Dublin Ski Club Advisor/Chaperone). Violation may result in immediate expulsion from the club with no refund.
4. Students must be on the bus to return by 8:30 P.M. or they will lose their next week of transportation.
5. All buses will be thoroughly cleaned of debris and trash by club members before they leave the buses at the end of the evening. Chaperones can keep students on bus until it is clean.
6. Chaperones oversee their bus to and from Snow Trails. Failure to comply with adult requests or student disrespect may result in suspension from the club and /or loss of ski time.
7. Abide by all school rules and regulations, as outlined in the student handbook and the Code of Conduct.
8. Any students who have excessive school discipline problems and are not good school citizens, will be excluded, regardless of grade level.
9. No Smoking or Vaping at any time (A violation will result in disciplinary action taken through the school administration).
10. Public display of affection (including kissing and/or questionable cuddling) is not permitted.
11. The use of alcohol or any other drug during the evening is forbidden. Students will not sit at any tables where alcoholic beverages are present.
12. Absolutely no stealing. Violation can result in expulsion from the club and the Ski Resort for the remainder of the season.
13. Passes are not transferable. (Violation will result in immediate expulsion from the club, no refund).
14. Wrist guards are recommended for all snowboarders.
15. Jumping off the chair lift is considered a violation of Club policy; violation will result in expulsion from the club and the Ski Resort for the remainder of the season.
16. Throwing any object, including snow, cans, or other trash, from a chair lift is considered a violation of club policy and will not be tolerated. This action can result in expulsion from the club.
17. Club members are required to follow the Mountain Responsibility Code. There are elements of risk that common sense and personal awareness can help reduce. Regardless of how you decide to use the slopes, always show courtesy to others. Please adhere to the code listed below and share with others the responsibility for a safe outdoor experience.
a. Always stay in control. You must be able to stop or avoid other people or objects.
b. People ahead of you have the right-of-way. It is your responsibility to avoid them.
c. No racing in a group across the slopes!
d. Do not stop where you obstruct a trail or are not visible from above.
e. Before starting downhill or merging onto a trail, look uphill and yield to others.
f. If you are involved in or witness a collision or accident, you must remain at the scene and identify yourself to the Ski Patrol.
g. Always use proper devices to help/prevent runaway equipment.
h. Observe and obey all posted signs and warnings.
i. Keep off closed trails and closed areas.
j. You must not use lifts or terrain if your ability is impaired by alcohol or drugs.
k. You must have sufficient physical dexterity, ability, and knowledge to safely load, ride and unload lifts. If in doubt, ask the lift attendant.
18. All Ski & Board members will treat everyone with respect: Resort staff, other Club members, and skiers and snowboarders at either resort. Failure to comply with this rule can result in the loss of Ski Club membership.
19. All club members with less than 6 times skiing or snowboarding must take at least three lessons. If you are a skier and switch to boarding, you must take at least 3 lessons.
a. Lessons must be purchased (added to the cost of your lift ticket pass purchase).
b. Lessons are available for all skier/snowboarder abilities from beginner to advanced.
c. Students new to skiing /snowboarding should not be on intermediate or advanced slopes. Doing so puts you and others at risk for personal injury. They need to remain on the bunny hill.
TAKE THE LESSONS AND GET SOME EXPERIENCE BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO SKI OR SNOWBOARD ON THE MORE DIFFICULT SLOPES.
e. VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO OVER-RATE YOUR ABILITY.
20. If Snow Trails personnel take your lift pass, you will be dismissed from the ski club for the remainder of the season. Also, the advisor or any chaperone reserves the right to remove a member from the ski hill for any reason that the advisor or chaperone deems appropriate. Refunds will not be given for removal from the hill.

All sales are final (No refunds for illness, schedule conflicts, or missed buses).
Weather happens: We ski in rain, snow, or cold.
Medical Exceptions: Only considered with a doctor’s note if submitted before Nov 30, 2026.
Holiday Valley Trip: Absolutely no refunds for any reason.
