DEER RUN STUDENT ABSENCE GUIDELINES
PRIOR TO AN ABSENCE:
For an upcoming absence for vacation, surgery, etc., please fill out the Elementary School Pre-Arranged Absence Form can be found on our school website. Return the form via email to dres_attendance@dublinschools.net. This will avoid daily notifications from the automated attendance during the absence.
DAY OF ABSENCE:
Please send an email to dres_attendance@dublinschools.net as well as your child’s teacher by 8:30 AM for absences due to illness, appointments etc., to avoid notifications from the automated attendant. Absences that are not excused per district guidelines will generate notifications regardless of your email.
EARLY PICK-UP/CHANGE IN DISMISSAL:
Please send an email in the morning to dres_attendance@dublinschools.net and your child’s teacher giving us notification that your child will be leaving early, coming in late or has a change in dismissal. After 8:30 AM, call the office as well because teachers may not have time to check email.
