Introduction to strategies to enhance critical thinking about text, collaboration and communication skills

A balance between fiction and nonfiction texts.

We will focus on narrative, informative, and opinion pieces.

Students will have the opportunity to try many forms of writing. Students will work with me in small groups or individually as needed for additional practice or extensions.

Focus on the way we look at and study words, building strategies for spelling correctly.
