Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program is a national government initiative that provides monetary support to low-income families in order to enhance the health, nutrition, and education of children ages 0-18. Its goal is to give social support namely financial aid to every distitute families in order to satisfy the immediate needs. It also focuses on social development by concentrating on disadvantaged children's health and education through initiatives to break the intergenerational cycle of poverty.
The Kalahi-CIDSS program designed to reduce poverty by involving communities in the planning and execution of development projects. The objective of the program is to improve the human development services, assest reforms, participation in governance and capacity building. It aspires to strengthen people by having them participate directly in community projects that offer immediate and long-term benefits for everyone involved.
The NHTS PR is a management system in the information used to identify poor households in the Philippines by region. A system that creates and maintains a socio economic database of poor families. It is a program of Department of Social Welfare and Development that aims to identify families who are living in extreme poverty. The National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction(NHTS-PR) is used to allocate funds and resources to poor households.
The Sustainable Livelihood Program(SLP) is a national government initiative that attempts to assist vulnerable families and people in improving their lives through skill training, job placement aid, financial resources, and other means. The Field Office supports communities efforts to promote economic empowerment, sufficiency, and better quality of life for people and families in the region through these services and initiatives.
The Supplementary Feeding Program gives youngsters more nourishment. This program is part of governments commitment to the Early Childhood Care and Development program from the Department of Social Welfare and Development. Children will receive hot meals at break or meal times 5 days a week for about 120 days as added nutrients. Parents will manage the supplementary feeding program which will rely on local food supply.
The Assistance to Individual in Crisis Situations (AICS) Program is an initiative led by the federal government that provides urgent and temporary assistance to those who are struggling financially. People or families that have experienced great financial trouble as a consequence of an accident, illness or natural disaster are illegible to receive financial assistance from this program. This assistance can be used for education, healthcare, transportation, burial expenses and other services.
The Social Pension for Indigent Senior Residents Program is part of the government's obligation to safeguard its most vulnerable citizen and to comply with RA 9994, or the Expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2010. The program provides a monthly grant of Five Hundred Pesos (Php 500.00) to assist underprivileged older individuals with their living and medical expenditures.

DSWD Field Office 6 offers a wide range of programs and services that support the health, nutrition, education and overall well-being of children and families. These initiatives includes Adoption, Social Amelioration Program (SAP), Recovery and Re-Integration Program for Trafficked Persons, Travel Clearance for Minors Travelling Abroad, and many more.
