The DSWD PMT shall oversee the effective implementation of the DSPMS. Specifically, it shall:
Take the lead in defining and reviewing the agency's long-term goals, medium-term plans and other performance frameworks and systems used that will define organizational outcomes, performance indicators and strategic initiatives;
Ensure the implementation of a results-based DSPMS that is anchored on the agency's mandate and strategic Plan;
Ensure translation, alignment and cascading of organizational commitments to the different levels in the agency;
Develop an internal performance-based incentive scheme which will reward exemplary employees/officials and well performing units both at the Central Office (CO) and Field Office (FO) level;
Propose a synchronized calendar for DSPMS activities, in consultation with various Offices, Bureaus, Services (OBS) and FOs; and
Act as a body to discuss on operational policies, guides and protocols to ensure that DSPMS meets its objectives.
