Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program

• is a social protection program that invests in the health and education of children 0-18 years old from eligible poor households. It provides cash grants (Education = Elementary – P300 and High school – P500; FDS and Health = P500; Rice Subsidy = P600 per Month) to the household beneficiaries in exchange to their compliance to conditionality's anchored on health and education.

Dual Objectives:

• Social Assistance – to provide cash assistance to the poor, to alleviate their needs (short term poverty alleviation)

• Social Development – to break the intergenerational cycle of poverty through investments in human capital (nutrition, health and education
