The Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) is the national poverty reduction strategy of the Philippine Government that provides conditional cash transfer to eligible households in order for them to improve their health, nutrition and education.
The Beneficiary Data Management System (BDMS) is one of the most critical components of the 4Ps. Its main function is to ensure integrity of the records of the beneficiaries of the Program.
The records of the beneficiaries and maintenance of its integrity is also largely dependent on the technical know-how of the field workers on BDMS processes and policies. The validation of the BDMS transactions by the field workers is essential in facilitating mechanisms in correcting and updating the records of the household- beneficiaries. This in turn would contribute to the maintenance of database records that are accurate, up-to-date and reliable.Β
