Advanced Academics Information Night & GT Testing:
An Advanced Academics and Gifted and Talented Parent Information Night will be held on Tuesday, September 30th, from 5:30-6:30pm at the CL&L to guide families in knowing how to request testing for gifted and talented services in DSISD. The window for parents to request GT testing is open from October 1, 2025, through November 14, 2025. For additional information, and to access the referral link on October 1st or after, please visit the DSISD Gifted and Talented website.

Arrival, Dismissal, Traffic Procedures 🚙
PK-2nd parent pick-up front loop
3rd-5th parent pick-up back loop
Kids Club pick-up starts at 3:30 p.m.
Afternoon transportation changes should be submitted to the front office by 1:00 p.m.
When picking up early, please try to pick your child up before 2:30 p.m. if possible.
The school zone is a no cell phone zone
Please do not use or park on Peabody Place or the bus lane behind the school for thru traffic.
Please do not park in front of DSMS along Tiger Lane.
Please do not cut through the Whim shopping center parking lot.
Just a note, our staff uses a traffic system that requires them to be on their phones to account for students during dismissal.
