This is a blank powerpoint with the titles and general format on it. You can add or subtract slides as you go. Keep the text simple and to the point. Important Dates
- West Point Elementary science/ STEM Fair -
The West Point Elementary school Science/STEM fair will be held Tuesday, January 23rd at the West Point Elementary school. Judging will take place from 3:00-4:00pm. An open house for parents and all others will be from 4:00-5:00pm. All 6th grade students are invited to participate. Students may present using a physical project board or using a digital presentation downloaded on their own charged device. Ten students will be selected from this fair to represent WPE at the Davis School District STEM fair.
- Davis School District STEM Fair -
The Davis School District STEM Fair will be on Monday, February 26, 2024, at the Davis Conference Center (1651 N 700 W, Layton, UT). Students may present using a physical project board or using a digital presentation downloaded on their own charged device. The Junior Fair will host students in grades 6-8 and the Senior Fair will host students in grades 9-12.
December 8th will be the last week of open progress meetings.
Students will not be permitted to attend progress meetings after December 8th without turning in their STEM fair proposal.
Weekly Progress Meetings
Purpose: The majority of work for the Science/STEM fair will need to be done at home. Materials are not provided by the school. However, weekly progress meetings will be held with the purpose of answering questions, checking progress, and supporting students throughout their experiments.
