When will my child receive their speech therapy services?
You will be informed at the beginning of the school year (or whenever your child begins receiving services) about the dates/times for their scheduled sessions.
Please click on the scheduling link to learn more about the scheduling process.
Where will speech therapy services be delivered?
The majority of speech therapy sessions are held in the Speech Room (DIS 108).
At times, when needs/circumstances warrant, sessions utilize a "push-in" model and are held in classrooms or during other activities during the school day.
How will I be notified about my child's performance/progress in therapy?
You will receive quarterly IEP Progress Reports sent via mail from the Special Ed. Office. You'll see the goal pages from the IEP with updated levels of performance from the previous quarter.
I will be in contact with you via the Remind App, phone or email to inform you of any significant improvement/decline in your child's performance.
If you would like an update at any point in time, feel free to contact me via the Remind App, phone or email to inquire about your child's performance/progress.
If you have any other questions, please contact me... I'm here to help!
