About The Teacher

I was born in Anderson, Indiana. I moved to Jefferson, Wisconsin where I attended 2nd-7th grade. I spent my 8th grade year in Portland, Oregon and returned to Indiana for high school. I attended Anderson University in Anderson, IN with a semester abroad at the Universidad de Sevilla and the Universidad Cumpletense de Madrid, both in Spain. I received a BA in Spanish and Education with a teacher certification in Spanish K-12. I taught Spanish for 5 years (Spanish I,II,III,IV, Honors Spanish I and II and Conversational Spanish) before joining the Dallas School District faculty in 2005. I am also the middle school yearbook adviser.
