Behavior System

In the following weeks I will begin a reward system with the students.  I will have a "WOW" chart.  When the children are "caught" doing something postiive, they will choose a square and write their name.  This is similar to a bingo board.  I will pick several square numbers each time the board is filled. Those students will win a prize.  The more their name appears, the better their chances of winning.   I will keep you updated when the system starts.  The first few weeks of school require frequent modeling of rules and procedures.  

In addition, I will have a classwide behavior incentive.  This will allow the entire class to earn a class reward.  I also use small daily incentives such as "secret student", and other fun classroom games to keep students on task.  

If a student is not following the class rules, and it begins to become a pattern, I will call or email to discuss.
