I am so eager to get to know my new first grade students! This is my fifth  year teaching first grade at  Wycallis.  Previously, I taught learning support for DSD.  I started my teaching career twenty five years ago in northern Virginia and then in suburban Philadelphia area. 

I spend a lot of my time researching new teaching methods and looking for exciting new ways to engage my young learners. In the past few years, I have learned so many ways to incorporate technology into my teaching.  I have a passion for children's literature and my book collection seems endless.  I spend a lot of time researching new teaching methods and keeping up with educational research. 

First grade is a magical time of growth and discovery.  I can not wait to watch your child learn and grow this school year.  Thank you for sharing your little one with me!
