About the Teacher

My name is Kylie Fisher. I am very excited for the new school year to start.  I teach 6th and 8th grade science and I am also the gifted charge teacher for 7th.  I live in Tunkhannock with my husband Eric, daughter Maya - who is in 3rd grade this year, my son Lucas - who will be turning 5 in November. 

I grew up in Tunkhannock. I went to college at King's College in Wilkes-Barre where I received a degree in Biology and a certification in secondary education.  I also played field hockey at King's.  I also have received a Masters from Wilkes University.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family going on bike rides or Sunday drives and spending time at the lake.  I also enjoy working out, reading, and finding new shows on Netflix. : ) 

I recently became a certified Yoga Teacher and SEL Facilitator. I am excited to bring what I learned into the classroom!
