 Q:  How do I apply for a job?

 

A: Click on the link Job Postings & Application Procedures on the employment page of the Dallas School District’s website.

 

Q: Will the Dallas School District accept paper applications?

 

A: The Dallas School District will accept online applications only. 

 

 Q: Can I save my incomplete application and complete it at a later time?

 

A: Yes.  You may logout of your application at any time and return later to complete it.  When you log back in, enter your username and password and you will be allowed to continue your application if the job posting is still open.  

 

Q: How do I know that my application was successfully submitted?

 

A: Once you complete all required sections, you will click finish and submit to send your application over to the Dallas School District.   The system will confirm for you a successful submission with a green check mark along with date and time submitted. You will also receive an automatic email confirming your application.  If all sections have not been successfully completed, the system will advise you on what sections are still outstanding. 

 

 Q:  I do not have current clearances yet.  How can I complete and submit my application?

 

A:  If you are currently working on obtaining clearances,  insert a placeholder in the area for clearances by typing on a blank sheet of paper that your clearances are in process and then upload your placeholder as needed.  For information on how to obtain your clearances,  please visit the clearance link on the employment page of the Dallas School District’s website.

 

 Q:  Can I upload additional documents that I feel are relevant?

 

A: Yes   Within the application, there is an area provided to upload additional materials that you may wish to submit for review as part of your application packet. 

 

Q: I have information to upload, but they are not computer files.  How do I submit them with my online application?

 

A: Any document that you wish to upload needs to be scanned and uploaded to your application.  If you do not have access to the equipment necessary for scanning, you may visit the applicant area located in the Administration Building of the Dallas School District. 

 

Q: What if I need technical help submitting my application?

Q: Once I have completed my online application what happens next?

 

A: Once the posting closes, all applications are reviewed by the Dallas School District.  If selected for an interview, you will receive an email inviting you to participate in the interview series.
