Hello and welcome to my class page!

I teach 8th grade Pre-Algebra along with Computer Technology. I have been teaching Mathematics in the middle school for nineteen years and this is my fifth year of my involvement of the Computer Department.   I am a part of the PA Smart Grant initiated by our Governor.

I am a Wyoming Valley West graduate.   I continued my education at King's College, graduating with Bachelor of Science Degree in both Computer Science and Mathematics, along with my certification to teach on the secondary level.  I obtained my first Master's Degree in Technology at College Misericordia (that's what it was called when I graduated).   Making education a career, I continued on to achieve a Masters in Educational Leadership from Wilkes University.  I completed all requirements and tests and now posses an administrative certification to serve as principal for grades K-12.

When I am not teaching or learning, I enjoy volunteering in my parish and community. I serve as a Luzerne County Ambassador for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. I meet wonderful families and do everything possible to make each child's dream come true. Some of my favorite wishes have been to meet Carol Burnett, attend the Kids Choice Awards, and sing at Carnegie Hall.   Since our #1 wish is Disney World, each year, I volunteer for one week in Florida at "Give Kids the World", a resort exclusively for Wish families while visiting Florida.  It is truly an amazing place. Through the years, I have met some children whom I will NEVER forget!

I was sworn in a CASA (court appointed special advocate) for Luzerne County in January of 2017.  This position gives me the opportunity to advocate for children who have been removed from the primary home.   I am also the President of the Kingston Rotary.

My goal is to ensure that each of my students reach their individual potential by applying their individual abilities.

My other hobby, decorating cakes!

Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE HOCKEY!  GO PENS!
