About the Teacher

Hello everyone! I am so excited to bring my passion for teaching to the Dallas School District. I am a Dallas High School graduate and completed my student teaching at the Intermediate School and High School. I have a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Temple University, Master's of Science in Health Education from East Stroudsburg University and a Master's of Education in Health and Physical Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I am certified to teach Health & Physical Education PreK-12 and PreK-4 general education. I also have my Water Safety Instructor certificate.  I have experience teaching locally as well as in Brooklyn, NY and Philadelphia, PA. During the 2023-2024 school year, I was the Middle School Wellness & Swim teacher but I am super excited to teach Wellness at Wycallis Primary Center for the 2024-2025 school year. Teaching K-2 is my passion so I am very excited to have the students gain a love for physical activity through fun games and activities to promote a healthy lifestyle through their lives. 

I currently reside in Dallas with my Fiance, Joe and son, Mason, who will be turning 2 at the end of September. We are a big Disney family and can't wait to share our love for Disney with our son.  During my free time, I love to cook, bake and stay physically active. Mason and I like to take long walks with our dog, Bailey.
