Non-SWC Boundary Gr. 8 Students

Parents/Guardians of DSBN Gr. 8 students who DO NOT reside within the SWC boundary will need to follow the steps below:

1. Parent/Guardian reaches out to their elementary principal to request an "Alternate School Request Form". Parent/Guardian completes and submits the form, adhering to timelines and direction as found on the form.

2. Parent/Guardian will be advised by their elementary principal once the request has been processed and approved/denied.

3. If approved, SWC main office staff will be in contact with the parent/guardian to complete the registration process.

Parents/Guardians of Non-DSBN Gr. 8 students (e.g. currently enrolled in a Catholic, French, Private elementary school, home-schooled, out-of-province) who DO NOT reside within the SWC boundary will need to follow the steps below:

1. Parent/Guardian reaches out to the principal of their boundary secondary school to work through the Alternate School Request process. If you do not know which DSBN secondary school is your home school, click here: DSBN Find a School / School Locator

2. Parent/Guardian will be advised by the DSBN secondary home school principal once the request has been processed and approved/denied.

3. If approved, SWC main office staff will be in contact with the parent/guardian to complete the registration process.
