WEEKLY EXTRA ACTIVITY -2

• Activity 2.1: Pick a suitable dataset from a trustable source of your own interest (For example: cricket, music, bollywood data, food, agriculture, football, etc.). The selected dataset should comprise at least 1000 rows and at least 5 columns which contain both categorical (at least 2) and numerical (at least 3) variables. Kindly cite the link of the data source and refrain yourself from using the data that are not intended for public consumption.

• Activity 2.2: Transfer the data from the source mentioned above into a Google Spreadsheet . You can either embed the spreadsheet directly into your Student Portfolio page or provide a link to access it.
  
  Create another Google Spreadsheet and execute the following tasks within it.
  
  1. Identify the following from your dataset and also give the reason behind it: 

  • categorical and numerical variables 

  • Scales of measurement of the variables 

  • Discrete and continuous variables

2. Visualize the dataset using suitable plots. Also, provide the reasons behind choosing the respective plots and interpret the obtained trends.

A BRIEF  Analysis Renewable Energy across the world

In recent years, renewable energy has emerged as a critical focus worldwide, with many countries aiming to reduce carbon emissions, enhance sustainability, and diversify energy sources. This analysis explores the development and growth of renewable energy production across various countries over time. By examining data on energy production, consumption, imports, exports, and installed capacity, we gain insights into each country’s energy strategies, efficiency, and contribution to global renewable energy efforts.

I have chosen a dataset from trusteed website    www.kaggle.com/datasets  on  Renewable Energy which contain 1000 rows and 10 column of numerical and categorical data . Either by clicking on the link or clicking directly on spreadsheets you will get the insights including visuals , about the data and their analysis

IN THE SPREADSHEET THERE WILL BE LINK FOR FOLLOWING .

1.RENEWABLE ENERGY DATA SET :-  This sheet will have 1000 rows and 10 columns in the columns there will be 3   categorical data ( country, year , energy type ) and remaining seven are Production ,  installed capacity , energy consumption  etc

2. SUMMARY :-  In the  "summary" tab there will be analysis of each dataset variable like fall under which scale of measurement or its a continuous or discreate variable and suitable plot along  with their reasons .

3. plot of variable 1 to 10 :- There will be 10 separate  sheet ( tabs ) for  each dataset in which  at least one suitable graph is given.
