did start as a one-hour introduction to computer science. It is designed to demystify "code", to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science. It has since become a worldwide effort to celebrate computer science, starting with 1-hour coding activities but expanding to all sorts of community efforts. As students complete them, they are able to earn a certificate. If they are logged in with their school accounts, they will be able to track their own progress.

Use this link to browse projects already created in the Khan Academy Computer Programming curriculum using JavaScript. These projects were created based on the lessons from the units and allows students to create a "Spin-off" and save and change the code. Those students that had my class last year, dipped their feet into the JavaScript drawing lessons to get a taste of learning one of the programming languages.
