Henna (MEHNDI) is a black dye prepared from the dried and powdered leaves of the henna tree. It has been used since at least the ancient Egyptian period as a hair and body dye, notably the temporary body art of mehndi (or "henna tattoo") resulting from the staining of the skin using dyes from the henna plant.
1.Each drawing consists of 3-4 thoughtfully arranged hands & wrists, each overlapping one another in some way.
2.Each HAND and MAJOR LINE COMPONENTS outlined in BLACK (Sharpie, ink pen, Colored Pencil)
3.Each hand thoughtfully decorated with patterns (at least 5 different visible per hand) covering at least 75% of each hand with design. Take your time! Evenly space lines and patterns!
4.Choose a color. Trace the outside of each hand/wrist with a thick COLORED LINE of marker of that color. Using either colored pencil or crayon, color the remaining negative space (background) the chosen color.
