Welcome Back!

We hope you enjoyed your summer and that this message finds your family well. This REMOTE LEARNING ART SITE is devoted to bring each student an enriching Art Class experience through the digital classroom.

Hello everyone,

With the ever-evolving nature of today's classroom format, it is our hope to bring students/families a modern style classroom where students choose their own path towards an exciting & enriching experience suited best towards their individual needs.

This school year, ART CLASS we will be incorporating a TIERed system where each individual student will have the ability to choose one 1 of 4 TIERed lessons depending on their interests/abilities. Each student will be introduced to an overall art theme. Each theme will comprise of various components teaching the students not only about a type of art, but the artists who created it and the impact it had on society. Once this knowledge is acquired, each student will then find four TIERed assignments (TIER 1-4) of their choosing related to the ART THEME.

It is the belief that with students choosing art projects/assignments based off of individual needs and interests, we will see increased achievement in the arts as students take more ownership of their education. Important state standards will be met through live discussion, taped presentations, work produced and written reflective summaries.

We look forward to a very exciting school year certainly to be filled with many upcoming unforeseen challenges. It is our goal to work closely with the students and their families to ensure a productive, enriching and rewarding art classroom experience. Thank you.

Regards,
