GOAL OF PROJECT
Essential Question: How do animals change as they grow?
This website is designed for 1st graders to do research on a flamingo, frog, or a sea turtle. Students will use this site to do research on one of the three animals and learn how it changes as it grows. Students will write up their findings in an informative style within a Google slides presentation to showcase their learning.

understands that animals have a life cycle, they learn as they grow, and their parent animals help them learn
uses knowledge of new vocabulary to read, comprehend, discuss and write about what animals are called when they are young, what animals can do as they grow older, and how they learn to do these things.
write an informative text with two or more facts
Identify, locate, and use letters, numbers, and special keys on a keyboard (e.g., Space Bar, Shift, Delete).
Create a simple digital artifact.
Create an artifact individually and collaboratively that answers a research question, while clearly expressing thoughts and ideas.
Explain the importance of giving credit to media creators/owners when using their work.
