Tree Seed Summit

at Pack Forest, Eatonville, WA

We greatly appreciated your presence and participation at the three-day summit of discussion, networking, and workshops tackling the industry's toughest challenges in support of the restoration of biodiverse ecosystems.

Please find the post-event materials, including the voting results and analysis, at the "materials" tab on the top right of the home page.

This year, Mast Reforestation partnered with the Society of Ecological Restoration to strengthen the seed supply chain.

The Society for Ecological Restoration Northwest Chapter (SERNW) is a dynamic interactive professional society dedicated to the art and science of restoration. Members of SERNW are actively protecting and restoring ecosystems throughout the Cascadia bioregion which includes Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Alaska and Northern California. They provide a unique opportunity for members to coordinate restoration efforts and gain technical skills specific to Pacific Northwest ecosystems.

SER's mission is to promote ecological restoration to restore and sustain the diversity of life in the Cascadia Bioregion, respectfully reconnecting cultures and ecosystems. SERNW was founded in 1993 as a private non-profit organization. We have a membership of nearly 460 individuals and organizations. A twelve-member volunteer Board operates the chapter, with members from throughout our region.

The goal of this summit is to bring together stakeholders amidst one of the most significant inflection points for reforestation in decades.

The summit joined experts, practitioners, and other key stakeholders working with seed and seedlings for a dual planning and teaching opportunity to increase knowledge - for themselves and others - on the topics and challenges of tree seed procurement in support of planning, designing, regenerating, and restoring biodiverse ecosystems.
